How to Make Your Sister Do Things for You

 You need a glass of water, but you don’t want to get up. Well, say no more! You can have your OWN PERSONAL assistant that does EVERYTHING for you! Unfortunately, it comes with a cost; it’s your sister. I bet if you were to ask your sister if she would get you a glass of water, the response would be, “UGH! You want to do everything for you! The answer is NO!” Another problem for you in the typical sibling relationship. It is okay because you can fool you sister into doing something for you.


PRECAUTIONS


  1. BE CAREFUL! You have to be careful on how you talk to your sibling otherwise you’re not going to get anything out of this.


  1. SMARTNESS LEVEL! You might want to go for the siblings that are young and don’t know too much. This will make the process easier.


  1. DO NOT BRIBE! You could end up promising too much, they might get angry at you, or this could end in disaster.


STEPS


  1. First, come up with a game or trick you can show them. Examples could be like the infinite chocolate bar trick or timed work game. You can find other ideas online.


  1. Call them sweetly and if they don’t respond, go to them. Don’t yell because you might make them angry and your parents would be mad at you for screaming.


  1. Lines like “Sometimes I get tired of chocolate because I have an infinite amount trick.” or “Hey! Let’s play a game to see how fast you are!” It depends on what you are doing to interest them.

  2. Then, let them get interested and make them get the water for you.


  1. Show them the trick or cheer them on when they finish the game. This way they will trust you and like to do this for you again!

A Different Day

  On Saturday morning, Tom, Sasha, and their baby sister Olivia were getting ready to go to the beach for a party with their parents. While Sasha did her hair and Olivia babbled in her crib, Tom was helping his parents get everything in the car. He brought the blue cooler filled with sodas, popsicles, and chilled bottled water into their minivan. Then he ran back inside to help with the chairs.   My name is Amulya Kuntamukkala and I’m a 5th grader at Barksdale Elementary in Plano, Texas. Ever since I learnt about nursery rhymes that my mom used to play for me, I was fascinated by the pleasant sound of music and Piano. I found a way to express myself and my feelings through music as I love to create my own music compositions. At times, I found myself singing in the shower and my parents proposed I should sharpen my skills and take voice lessons.  Classical songs are my favorites to play!
