Alien Invasion!

Chapter 1

The Invasion


Me and Emma rushed down the hall covering our faces. It was only a matter of time before we were taken. Buildings were being thrown down, the air was damp and cold, screaming was all around. Suddenly Emma started floating in the air. She screamed. The aliens had spotten us! I ran as fast as I could but Emma did not make it. My parents were taken too and I was all alone. My heart was pounding and I could feel a scream building up in my chest but I held it in. The aliens had finally left and it was quiet. I got up from my hiding spot. Tears fell out of my eyes. After that another tear popped open in my eyes. Then a shadow appeared. I screamed. “What was out there”? I thought. 



“Don’t worry child”, the voice said. 



I peeked  out and saw an old lady. Her voice was so soft and kind that I couldn’t help but smile. I was quiet for some time. Then the old lady started talking again. I listened and then I finally asked “Can you help me”? “Of course”! The old lady replied. 


We started walking to the outskirts of the town. It was late and the old lady said it was time for bed. But I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t stop thinking about what would happen to my friends and family. What did the aliens want anyway? Were the aliens going to kill everyone they abducted? Make them their slaves? It was a mystery.



Chapter 2

Earlier


Me and Emma walked on the sidewalk talking about my parents bakery. We walked into the shop to get 2 cookies. My dad had just experimented with a new kind of cookie. Emma tasted the cookie and exclaimed “This is a great cookie”! “I think you would sell a lot of these”! My mom smiled and I grabbed Emma’s hand leading her out the front door. We went over to the ice cream shop to get ice cream. Emma got Vanilla and I got Mango. Then we went to the town square and sat on a bench. I got up from the seat and me and Emma were talking about how Sophie had been humiliated in class. The homework was to research a type of animal and then report about it. There was also going to be a drawing contest. I looked at Emma who had ice cream all over her face. I giggled. I then said I had homework to do. Me and Emma high fived. I walked home. I took out my math worksheet and filled the blanks of division problems. I started setting the table for dinner. We had rice and beans. Then I watched a little bit of tv and went to bed. The next day I got ready for school. I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, took a shower, wore my school uniform, brushed my hair and packed my backpack. I went downstairs for breakfast and to get my lunch bag. I stuffed  my lunch bag in my backpack and then had cereal.  I went outside and started whistling a tune. Then the air began to swirl as a tornado appeared. It suddenly became cold. I looked up and my mouth opened as big as it could. The adventure had begun!



Chapter 3

Walking in a Forest.


In the morning my eyes were red. The old lady gave me some strawberries from a strawberry bush nearby for my breakfast. Then she said “Lets go to a nearby village I grew up in where my children live”.


 I said “Okay”.


 Then I drank some water and off we went. We walked around places for hours and I could see the old lady was super tired. But we kept walking and walking and walking and walking. It was kind of dark and my feet ached from all the walking, so we took rest in a cave. When we settled, I heard some low growling. I turned my head to see that we were in a grizzly bear’s cave! I ran like crazy and pulled the old lady to follow me. We ran in a direction for 10 minutes. Then we started panting and trying to hold our breath. But the grizzly bear followed us. Me and the old lady tried to climb a tree and we succeeded, but the grizzly bear stood on his hind legs and scratched me super hard. Blood spurted out. I tried not to yell. Then the old lady started making a weird call and grizzly ran away in fright. We got down and the old lady applied some cream and bear spray on to my leg. Then we kept walking. I realized the old lady was getting sick. Finally we got to the other town and I took a nap.


Chapter 4

How To Build A Rocket


I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I yawned and I stretched a little bit. I thought about how I was gonna save everyone from the aliens. I got up from the bed and then I looked at the paper. I suddenly had an idea. I ran down the steps and greeted the old lady. I asked for a paper and pencil and went back into the room. I stayed there for 5 hours. And I kept coming up  with different models of rockets to go to space. Finally after 21 mistakes in models I had finally come up with the perfect model to build. I grabbed all the materials and kept on building for a week. When I was done I put on a space outfit and as soon as I opened the door it broke, the whole space ship broke into big pieces. I looked if I might cry. The old lady put her hand on me and said “Here, this will help you get to outer space”.


 I thanked the old lady and took the pouch I ran as fast as I could into the center of the earth to the outskirts of the city. I opened the pouch to find rocks instead of dust! I was all alone and tears welled up in my chest. I sat there praying sitting all alone and not moving for 10 minutes. I realized some of the parts of the town where I lived blew here and I built a shelter and waited till morning.  








Chapter 5

All Alone

The next morning I got up and looked around. I groaned and started walking. “The old lady tricked me, or maybe she couldn’t see well or maybe the rocks are the magic. I touched a rock and felt like I was falling, not going up. I saw that I was locked up in a dungeon. I heard someone cackling, so I turned my head to see. I saw the old lady but she had green skin and broom and a cat standing beside her. “What”?!


 “I tricked you”.


 “Why”? 


“Because I am a witch and use children’s energy to recharge myself and turn them into butterflies, you will be on Monday, I have other kids to use till then”.


 She walked away. I ran in place and panicked what was going to happen. “WHY, WHY DOES IT HAPPEN TO MEEEE!!!!!!!” 


I saw a key hanging on a knob next to my cage till evening I tried to reach it but failed. I panted and I fell onto the bed there, the only furniture there. I wanted to get out, the place smelled like someone put a stink bomb in. 




Chapter 6

Escaping The Dungeon

I looked around and saw a girl standing there, she looked like she was trying to talk to me for a long time. “It won’t work, to get the key you need the witch’s magical wand. My name is Riley by the way”.


 “Nice to meet you, I’m Natalie”.


 “How do we bust out of this place”? I ask.


 “Let’s form a plan,” answered Riley.


 I chatted with Natalie for a while and we came up with a plan but we had to hurry. Natalie was next to be a butterfly. 


Step 1 - Make noises so witch can come

                  Step 2 - Steal the witch’s wand  

Step 3 - Turn witch to mouse and get key

Step 4 - Stamp on the witch and unlock 

other kids


It was the perfect plan, now we just needed to do it.



Step 1 - We started making all sorts of noises until the witch came. “Stop it! You kids are sooo annoying”.


“Hiya! Take this you witch! Now Natalie”! I grabbed the witch's wand and turned into a mouse saying these words: Be a mouse in this house with 4 paws, gray fur, shrinking and big ears. Become a mouse now! Then I zapped her and she was a mouse. We got out of the cage and I stamped on the mouse/witch whatever there was no one to correct me anyway so hard it died. We ran to another room and freed all sorts of kids big and small and short and tall and with all sorts of names. Bobby, Everlyn, Eva, Jim, ect. We all hugged each other and everyone except Riley and me ran in different directions. “You going home”? I asked smiling


“I am an orphan so I don’t have a very own home”.


“Oh, come with me, I have to save my friends and family. Maybe you can live with us”.


“Oh thank you thank you thank you”!!!! She squealed




Chapter 7

The Lights


We walked for a little bit and saw some weird lights hanging around, a moment later one talked to me “Hey Natalie! It’s me!”


I yelped and ran behind Riley. Riley looked brave and ran up to it. I hid behind a tree and Riley chatted with it. “It’s okay! Come out Natalie!” 


I took a deep breath and I walked up to it. “It’s me Natalie! It’s Emma!”



“What no wait! You are not Emma!” 


“No the aliens zapped us and then we turned into lights. You have to get the key if you want to let us turn back to humans!”


I sat there not blinking, tears were rolling out of my eyes, I was lost in my mind. “Hey you’ll be okay. Let’s go get that key and destroy the aliens.” Said Riley


“But how?” I asked


“By being brave” She answered


I wiped away my tears and stood up. A minute later aliens attacked! They were blabbering stuff and I say that they all had watches to control everything. We both ran and hid. “What should we do”?

“I have a plan, first we get all the watches off the aliens then with the watches we grab the aliens and send them in the space ship blast it off to Saturn because it’s the farthest from earth and then we turn everyone back to normal”.


“Okey Dokey”!


I yelled and ran as fast as I could snatching the watches and destroying them. I kept one and I used it to put the aliens in the spaceship and sent them to Saturn. I put a bomb to break the spaceship as soon as they arrived at Saturn. I changed everyone back to normal. I ran and hugged my family and Emma. I saw Riley staring at the back looking shy, I ran up to her and hugged her. She became my sister and we had fun with each other. She is caring, kind, sweet, silly and encouraging. That is my side of the story of the alien invasion.

Mango vs Banana

Mango Side Mango is a very nutritious fruit. It is used in many ways. Why you should eat Mango is because it helps with your digestion system in your body. It adds a glow to the skin and contains a lot of Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Mango split doesn’t sound as good in my opinion. Bananas contain a lot of nutrients and they can help with weight loss. Bananas help you feel full. It also provides Vitamin A. How Gracie and Grassy Met Siddhu and Vedu

  Gracie was collecting food with Grassy when a strong wind blew. Gracie got picked up in the wind and headed towards the park in the distance. Grassy tried to keep up but the wind blew too fast.
