Crow and the Cocoa Powder - Part 2

Everyone was gathered around Crow asking so many questions about why he returned late. Crow just answered mumbling and then started telling lies. Then everyone got mad at Crow and the next day they started avoiding him. Crow felt bad about telling lies so he dropped off some cards to everyone to tell the truth. But in red marker everyone put an X and put them silently at Crow’s front door. Crow was kind of hurt. He threw his letters in the trash and sat on his couch thinking. The next day he wasn’t very happy with his decision but it was the only way. He decided to fake kidnap his friends. He knew it wasn’t right but it was the only way. In the night he got to work. He took 3 bags and flew to Wood Stork’s place. By morning he had everyone. He took out the bags and they all screamed CROW!!!!!!!!! Crow said he was sorry and wanted to tell the truth but everyone was like, you fake kidnapped us for this matter. Then they went home and stayed even farther away from Crow. 


Weeks Later…


Crow saw all his friends playing soccer in the park. He went up to them and said hi. But they glared at him and took their ball and ran somewhere else to play where Crow was not. How is Crow going to make his friends like him again? Will he do something good or bad?

A Different Day

  On Saturday morning, Tom, Sasha, and their baby sister Olivia were getting ready to go to the beach for a party with their parents. While Sasha did her hair and Olivia babbled in her crib, Tom was helping his parents get everything in the car. He brought the blue cooler filled with sodas, popsicles, and chilled bottled water into their minivan. Then he ran back inside to help with the chairs. As Sasha finished her beautiful silky brown locks of hair, she helped her mother to pack. First, they tended to little Olivia’s bag. Olivia’s diaper bag took most of the space, but there was just enough space to squeeze in her baby lotion, sunscreen, bug spray, an extra onesie, and rubber bands. Tom’s bag was next.   My name is Amulya Kuntamukkala and I’m a 5th grader at Barksdale Elementary in Plano, Texas. Ever since I learnt about nursery rhymes that my mom used to play for me, I was fascinated by the pleasant sound of music and Piano. I found a way to express myself and my feelings through music as I love to create my own music compositions. At times, I found myself singing in the shower and my parents proposed I should sharpen my skills and take voice lessons.  Classical songs are my favorites to play! Sometimes, I like to do a few tricks like playing a nursery rhyme with my hands on it backward or putting my head on the bench and my hands on the Piano which my teacher Ms.Jamie finds very amusing. Piano training has helped me in reading music proficiently. I am taking choir as an elective in middle school to help me read more complex music and improve my voice.
