Tit for Tat - Chuck and the Chipmunk

Chuck was in bed, he woke up from the sound of the woodpecker. Chuck was hungry,  so very hungry. He went down the tree and dug in the dirt to find acorns he buried, but found nothing but a chipmunk footprint. He saw his neighbor, the chipmunk taking some acorns into his tree. Chuck thought, “He has taken my acorns”.

So at this point Chuck asked the chipmunk to give back some of his acorns. The chipmunk was very greedy, and said, “Go find some on your own, I found them myself”.  

So Chuck went back into his home and took his canteen of water. A minute later he overheard the chipmunk moaning for water because the water nearby was only for squirrels. Chuck came up with a plan he called the chipmunk and invited him to take some water with him into his house. The chipmunk agreed.

1 HOUR LATER….

The chipmunk entered the room to see it filled with canteens and bottles of water. He started laughing maniacally and began taking sips of water. He even dumped a bottle on him. He got so distracted, he didn’t even see Chuck scamper to the chipmunk’s home. He got 15 nuts and went to his secret acorn place behind his tree. He stored his acorns there and went back to the tree to just see the chipmunk leaving. He had 2 canteens of water in his hands. When he reached his tree, he screamed NEIGHBOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chuck chuckled lightly to himself. The trick worked.
