Back In Time
At around 6 am, the talking alarm clock woke and started shrieking. “HEY! WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!” Melly stretched, yawned, and said to the alarm clock. “Hey Shriekie, what events are coming up today?” she asked. “YOU HAVE TO GET GOING! YOUR BOSS WILL BE ANGRY!” shrieked the alarm clock. “I would rather have him yell at me more than you,” muttered Melly. “WHAT’S THAT?” questioned Shriekie. “Nothing! Nothing. I’ll just get going.” said Melly. She walked into the hallway. “Hey boy! Hey Charlie!” babied Melly. “Woof Woof!” said the dog, joyously. “At least someone in a good mood, I wish I had gotten the Cheerie clock.” Melly shook her head. “FOR YOUR INFORMATION! I AM A CLOCK! NOT YOUR MOTHER! I WOULD RATHER NOT WAKE YOU UP!” shrieked the alarm clock from the bedroom. “One day, I will rip those batteries out of their places!” Melly yelled back.
