Cutip Gets Lost

At the shelter in New York city, there was a cat. She didn’t have a name because, well she was a stray. You see, this cat was very kind and quiet. One day a family came and bought the cat. She was a very happy. Though inside Cutip(that is what the family named her), she was like this family doesn’t exactly know me..hehe! She was very naughty.

One day she was plotting a prank on the family. She decided to hide and not respond to the family when they called her. The next day she was ready. When someone called Cutip, Cutip didn’t answer. The family searched everywhere but couldn’t find the cat. Then they asked their neighbors and said "Can you give me a tip in finding Cutip?" They went on bikes and went around the neighborhood and asked everyone to search. They searched but still could not find Cutip. Finally, the whole neighborhood was searching for the cat and Cutip was enjoying seeing all the attention she was getting.

There were Cutip’s pictures on lost posters, people were scattered everywhere calling out Cutip and were searching desperately. The family was searching inside the house, the mom posted on facebook to make sure everyone searched their backyard and front yard. The kids were crying, everyone was worried and here is a list of what could have happened to Cutip…

1. Eaten by a bobcat

2. Run over by a car

3. Fall into the stream

4. Taken away by Animal Control

The family was also confused how Cutip got out because all the gates were closed. But there was a hole in the back door that Cutip must have gone through. Kids were crying harder, more lost signs were hung up. It all seemed like it was going to end. People were searching everywhere, here is another list where people were searching…

1. Trees

2. Bushes

3. In Houses 

4. The Park

Now it was a heart breaking scene. Kids were crying harder than ever. It was like a scream you could hear miles away. Everyone was shouting Cutip as loud as they could. Leaves and branches were scattered everywhere. It was the worst. The family got Animal Control to investigate. And for Cutip, she was enjoying the drama of attention, crying, people shouting her name, and lost poster signs. She was getting lots and lots and lots and 100 more lots of attention. People were getting so worried they wanted to pull off their hair on their head. The family was the most worried, the most crying and all that.  

5 HOURS LATER…

Cutip finally took pity on the family and decided to stop. She crept from under the bed and said Meow. The family heard that and went straight to the bedroom. Cutip was there. The family was relieved and pet their cat. They thanked their neighbors and took off the lost posters. PS If they didn’t take off the lost posters, other people would bring different cats that the family didn’t own and know.
